by the Lasalle Turtle Club,
August 5th to 7th.

2005 Ancaster
World Invitational T-Ball Tournament
Both T-Ball Rep teams
played in the Ancaster
World Invitational T-Ball Tournament on the Civic Holiday weekend,
Friday, July 30 to Monday, August 2. More photos
of the tournament are available here.
The T-Ball Braves,
battling injuries as well as tough opposition, persevered and finished
third overall in the tournament.
The T-Ball Select
team scored the winning run on the last batter in the bottom of the fifth
inning to defeat Windsor South Little League on Monday and win the AA
division.

2005 Erindale
T-Ball Tune-Up
On the
weekend of July 15-17 the High Park T-Ball All-Stars and the High Park
T-Ball Selects participated in the 2005 Erindale T-Ball Tune-Up tournament.
Once again, the hosts in Erindale did a great job in organizing and running
the tournament, and everyone enjoyed the experience.
The Select
Team lost only one game during the tournament, and were declared the Champions
of the AAA Division. The All-Stars played well throughout the tournament,
but ran into tough opposition from the team from the Lasalle Turtle Club
team from Windsor. In the Championship game between High Park and Turtle
Club on Sunday afternoon, the score was tied at 12 apiece after three
innings, but in the end, Turtle Club defeated High Park by a score of
16 to 15. We look forward to meeting the Turtle Club again in Ancaster.

High Park Hosts
Minor Provincial Tournament
The High
Park Minor Braves are Ontario Champions after defeating Upper Canada 4-3
in an exciting conclusion to the tournament on July 27th. The 2005 Ontario
Litttle League Minor
Provincial Championship Tournament was hosted by High Park. Congratulations
to the tournament organizers and the players and coaches of the Minor
Braves!
2005 All-Star
Day
Sunday
July 10th was All-Star Day at High Park. Players from all divisions demonstrated
their skills in a celebration of High Park Baseball.
To begin the day's
events, T-Ball and Little League coaches participated in a Slo-Pitch softball
game.
This year, the T-Ball
division featured two games. First our T-Ball Rep teams played a short
intrasquad game as a warm-up for the Erindale tournament. This was followed
by the All-Star game between two teams of selected house league players.
